Do I need to contact Vinafour to confirm my booking?

Most of the time, you don't need to call us. As soon as the booking process is complete, we'll send you an e-mail confirming your booking. Occasionally, however, an airline may take up to 24 hours to confirm a flight. If this is the case, we'll let you know right away. Check your itinerary 24 hours after your booking to make sure it's been confirmed by the airline.

My flight leaves soon. Where do I confirm my reservation?

All flights should be confirmed with the airline directly. We recommend that you do so at least 24 hours prior to departure for domestic flights (72 hours for flights to Hawaii and international destinations).

How do I confirm my seat assignments?

You'll need to call the airline directly. For contact information, please see our "Airline toll-free telephone numbers" page. 

Pre-booking seats is subject to the individual airline policy, we will assist where possible

Booking


If I have bought an E-Ticket what do I do at check in?

You can proceed direct to check-in; you don’t have to go to the ticket desk.

At check-in you will be asked for your Passport or photo- id for domestic flights. You will then be issued with your boarding card.

You also have the choice at major airports of self service check-in machines. The machine will ask you for your credit card, frequent flyer card or passport to verify your name. This is a great way to check-in if you only have hand luggage.

If you have luggage to check in you will have to go to the ‘luggage drop’ desk prior to going through to the departure hall.


What is your ticket delivery policy?

The majority of airlines now provide e-tickets via email & will either no longer issue paper ticket or make a charge per ticket for doing so – this will vary per airline. All scheduled airlines will have to e-ticketable by December 2007, we, therefore, recommend e-ticket as the most efficient way of airline travel.

Do I have to pay with a credit card?

What form of payment does vinafour.com accept?

At vinafour.com we accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard & Amex). We accept cash, however clients are advised not to post cash to us.


Can I pay a deposit for my flight?

No at Vinafour.com we take full payment at time of booking for both bookings online & via our call centre.


What kinds of credit cards does Vinafour accept for payment?

Is there any surcharge for payment with an international credit card?

Due to the complicated settlement procedures between banks, there is surcharge for your payment with an international credit card, please view the detailed rate and amount on the credit card surcharge acknowledgement page.

What is CVV/CVC Verification Code?

CVC (Card Verification Code) is an extra code put on the back of credit card. It is also called CVV (Card Verification Value). It is shown on top of the signature, being italic. The first 4 digits on the back of the credit card are credit card number, and last 3 are Verification Code. Please note that this Verification Code is not the password of your credit card.


Why doesn't Vinafour accept credit card with expiry date of current month?

According to bank regulations, payment cannot be deducted if the credit card expires in current month. Please contact the bank for more details.


Why should I "Contact the Bank" if the credit card verification fails?

Generally, if the transaction fails due to a reason we can't get known from the system of cooperated bank, and it can only be checked by the cardholder by enquiring the bank, you will need to contact the bank. Such failed transaction may be caused by the followings:

    The card is applied with an information security program.
    The credit card is frozen because its overdraft hasn't been paid or it has been used out of its consumption frequency limit.
    The credit card information you provide is not accurate.


If I request a refund, how long does it take to be credited to my account?

Restricted by settlement flows between collecting bank, issuing bank and international credit card organization, it usually takes 30-40 business days for international credit card to get the refund. If you fail to receive the money during our promised refund period, please contact us timely.


Is it safe to use my credit card for payment on Vinafour?

We strictly follow the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard to store, handle and transmit customers' credit card information. We have selected and professional staff and standard handling procedures under monitoring. If you submit your information online, the credit card information and personal identifiable information are protected during transmission over the internet by the use of SSL encryption methods. You can check your credit card statement and contact us if the deducted amount does not consist with the practice. We will check and handle it in a timely manner.
